Dr Abbas is a highly accomplished General Surgeon and Gastrointestinal Endoscopist whose areas of expertise encompass Laparoscopic and Open Gastrointestinal, Hernia, Gallbladder, and Vascular surgery. After completing five years of advanced surgical training in general surgery, Dr Abbas was honored with the fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, a testament to his excellence in the field. Throughout his career, he has held several academic posts, including the esteemed position of Associate Professor at Bond University. Currently, Dr Abbas serves as a senior lecturer at Griffith University, where he provides invaluable instruction to junior doctors and medical students. Upon arriving in Australia, Dr Abbas underwent extensive training in General and Vascular Surgery, eventually being selected for specialized training in general surgery under the esteemed guidance of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
