Specialist Network facilitates access to a range of independent specialist practitioners consulting from our rooms, supporting the local community with timely access to experienced surgeons and healthcare professionals.
The practitioners consulting at Specialist Network are independent medical specialists who operate their own practices. They provide services in areas including colorectal and general surgery, with many utilising advanced techniques such as endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures.
In addition to these specialties, independent practitioners consulting from our rooms also provide services in interventional radiology, allergy and clinical immunology, and bariatric surgery. Practitioners may work alongside allied health professionals as part of their patient care.
Specialist Network provides administrative and facility support services to practitioners, including rooms, reception, and booking support. Each practitioner is responsible for the medical services they provide, including clinical care, billing, and fees.
As the practitioners consulting from Specialist Network operate independently, out-of-pocket fees may apply. Many practitioners participate in ‘Known GAP’ arrangements, which may reduce out-of-pocket costs for eligible patients with private health insurance.
