Ellen is a highly qualified Dietitian, Nutritionist, and Exercise Scientist with a strong background in Cardiology Research. She has a deep passion for optimising diet and lifestyle to enhance health and effectively manage symptoms and the progression of disease. Ellen is committed to taking a ‘whole person’ approach and thoroughly examining all potential factors that may contribute to ill health in her clients. In addition to providing dietary advice, she aims to help her clients achieve optimal health by considering all aspects of their wellbeing.

Ellen earned her degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science from The University of Adelaide and further pursued her Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University. During her studies, she gained valuable clinical experience in various areas, including oncology, haematology, post-surgical management, and general medicine. She is registered as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with Dietitians Australia, ensuring that she meets the highest professional standards in her field. Additionally, Ellen completed Monash University’s online training course on The Low FODMAP Diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome, further expanding her expertise in gastrointestinal health.

As a qualified professional, Ellen is equipped to conduct comprehensive dietary assessments, analyse nutritional data, and provide tailored advice to optimise health through a balanced diet. She specialises in assisting individuals with lifestyle diseases, allergies, intolerances, and alternative dietary. Ellen is well-versed in providing dietary guidance for various health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, liver disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, malnutrition, and paediatric and pregnancy health.

Ellen’s key interest areas lie in gastrointestinal health, specifically irritable bowel disease and inflammatory bowel disorders. She also has a special focus on women’s health and pregnancy, paediatric health, and dietary considerations for those following vegan or vegetarian lifestyles. Through her comprehensive knowledge and commitment to ongoing learning, Ellen strives to make a positive impact on her clients’ wellbeing and empower them to achieve their health goals.
